Natural Soy Wax Candle with Bluebell Meadows fragrance oil. A rich floral accord of bluebells and hyacinth enhanced with notes of galbanum, rose and jasmine.

Lovely to light anytime of the day.

This candle comes in an amber jar with aluminium lid and packed in the box, pictured above, so can easily be turned into a gift for another or even something to unwrap for yourself! I have enclosed a small note with instructions to look after the candle for a longer burn.

Both the jar and cardboard box can be recycled.

I have always been good at working with my hands and imagination (I think!). I enjoyed that more than studying for exams and working as an accountant. When two years ago, Greta Thunberg started her crusade on climate change, I decided to attempt to curtail all household plastic use and consumption. I started making soaps, hand and body butters, deodorants, lip balms etc. for our day to day use. I still only buy the minimum for household cleaning products, I want to try and stop this too.

Through the internet I found some recipes and how to guides. My first ever success were my pure coconut oil soaps which I shared with friends and family, I received rave reviews! It was now time for me to begin a more in depth study and to start to hone in my skills. When looking for some soap classes I stumbled across Soap School. That same night while watching television I wrote on the Soap School website. Alas, I received a response within about 10 minutes from Shawn, (apparently it had been a day of lessons and Shawn found the time to respond to me). I was very pleased. After a few emails exchanges, I decided to join the Soap Boot Camp held in London. It lived up to its name. From 9:30am on a Saturday and then again from 10:00am on Sunday until whatever the time we were making all kinds of soaps. Returned home happy after two hectic days. The journey with Soap School continued as they taught me how to make a variety of different products, until I found my little shop's voice through candle-making.

I am trained by some of the best and love teaching myself and experimenting at home, please enjoy my labour of love creations.

Thank you,
